Default is a trailer hitch possible?

..for an 09 Softail Custom?
I searched 10 pages worth of threads, but can't find reference to any model with a bob rear fender.

man anything is possible. If you have thought of it most likely some one has made it. I did i search on yahoo and found one for softails at mchitch.com. Now if it would look good on a bobbed fender is a differant story. Man you even have a local fab shop make you one. it wouldn't be hard. just run your bracket up to the fender struts.

I seen a guy with one last week, unfortunately he was just leaving the gas stop as I was pulling in so I didn't get any kind of look at it.
He looked to be riding a 07 Standard with a Fatboy rear fender on it. I would have liked to seen how he had it mounted because he wasn't pulling a small trailer it was fairly large compared to other motorcycle trailers. The one on the Mchitch site looks pretty simple tho, if you know a welder he could probably fab ya up one easily enough, I'd just be very careful not to overload those struts.

I just returned from Freedom Rally in Algona, IA. I saw a couple bikes with bobtail fenders with trailer hitches. I'd also like to get one for my 05' Softail Standard. They told me to check out www.hitchdoc.com. Theirs looked good, and they said installation was a breeze.

Contact Bushtec trailers. They hook up travel trailers to everything.

I am sure Andrew can point you in the right direction.
