Installed new battery in 2001 FLTRSEI and now engine light stays on. Took it to dealer today who cleared code, and told me it was a battery code; but, likely historical due to my installation of a new battery.( I am skeptical since there were in excess of 50 ignition on/offs which should have cleared any historical code, I think.) Five miles down the road, the lights back on. Guage indicates 14 volts. Any suggestions?
Also, anyone know how to retrieve diagnostic codes for 2001 MMs. I found several threads with info for 2002-06s, but nothing for 01s. Thanks.
