Replacing hand grips?

Default Replacing hand grips?

How hard is it to replace hand grips? I have an '08 Road King witht he stock grips and would like to replace them with another style. I can't really see how they come off. Thanks.

The throttle grip should come off easily once you crack open the turnsignal swich housing. The left grip I belive needs to be cut off.

I just did mine after I watch this and saw how simple it was

If you buy grips from Harley you'll get instruction with the grips, my grips were different that those shown above so they had a certain way to be installed.
You'll need a Torx #t25 screwdriver, Knife, sandpaper, adhesives(optional)
Be sure to put that piece into the break as shown..
Takes 15 min
