I have a 05 electraglide standard. Is there a product out there that will bring the matte finish on my motor back to life? I chromed all the polished aluminium parts.

 

WD40 and a toothbrush works for me.

 

I seen this on a car show,they said for dull aluminum wheels use WD40 and aluminum foil as a wipe. Never tried it though, good luck.

 

The matte finish is actually a silver powdercoat finish. S100 makes an engine brightner that many people use on the black powdercoat engines. It should work the same on the silver ones.

 

Technically you are cleaning paint and not bare aluminum on the engine. Choose products based on that. The last bare aluminum Harley I saw was my 52 panhead
