Default Head Light

Okay, I have a 2000 Heritage Classic. Heres my question. I want to change the headlight to a hallogen light. Can I just replace the bulb or do I have to do some electrical work? My wife says the old light just ain't bright enough. What do I have to replace?

Thanks, Lynn

If it is a standard fitting bulb (H4? but not certain on your make), you can replace that directly with a halogen bulb, no other work is required.

On the other hand, if you want to go HID - you will need a ballast and all the other stuff necessary, in that case it is better to buy a complete replacement light unit but those are EXPENSIVE!.

Sooee is right. Just get a Silverstar or PIAA bulb (h4) and you will be much happier.
