My bike's been parked in the garage for about 3 weeks now unridden and everything was working just fine the last time I rode it. I crank it up so I can move it from the garage to the storage room for the winter. Out of the blue the handle bars are loose, moving up and down as I'm manuevering the bike holding the grips. The whole housing appears to move. Anybody have any idea what's up with that and what needs to be done to resolve it? Thanks for your input.

First thing you want to do is to check for cracked or broken clamps. If you don't see anything wrong get someone to help hold the bars, then remove the top clamp and check to see if the bars are slipping in the clamp. If you see any metal from slipage clean the clamp& the bars to remove All the metal chips then put the bars back on and snug the bolts evenly DO NOT tighten the top bolts at the same time, use a cross patten and tork to spec. Hope this will help.
