Default Getting paint of of fiberglass

I have some side covers and hard bags that it looks like someone painted with spraypaint. How is the best way to get it off without ruining the gelcoat: Blasting with walnut husks, paint stripper, sanding?

I would try 2000 wet paper and a fine polish Harley's new clearcoat is real thick.
