Default Fork bag

I'd like to have some small storage space for a couple of tools and clear sunglasses -- it appears a fork bag is the only option on my '07 FXD.

I'm guessing that when I ride or brake hard, the fender will contact the bottom of the bag. Is anyone running a fork bag, or has run one, and had problems with this?

I've got Boss bags and a luggage rack, but I'd still like to carry a couple of small items when the bike is 'stripped'.

Thanks!

You can also put it above the triple tree clamp behind the speedo, then you won't ahve to worry about the fender getting hit with it.

I have a Wind Vest windshield... forgot to mention that, sorry!

I was wondering if I could hang it on the handlebars... there is space between them and the tank, but I wouldn't want to scratch the paint.

You can also hang it under the bottom of the frame. Just don't block the regulator.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but i'd have to tale off the emissions canister. it's a California bike.

You don't the emission can for anything anyway. If you hang it on the bars make sure you turn them in both directions all the way to see if it contacts anything. If it doesn hit anything it should be fine, but it wouldn't be my choice of places to put it.

I have a fork bag attached to the lower triple tree and the forks. Never even comes close to hitting the fender. See sig pic

I picked up a fork bag and attached it to the lower triple tree and forks. It looks great, and doesn't come close to the fender even in a hard brake dive.

thanks!
