Does anyone have the stock clear turn indicator bulbs with the smoked lens covers over them on the front or back or both? Is it even legal?

Im thinkin' not.....I would guess that amber or red are the required colors in all states.

 

You're probably right. My son bought me a set of smoked lens that came with amber bulbs and he thought it looked "cool" over the stock bulbs. I told him it probably wouldn't be street legal but I had to admit it did look kind of "cool".

I think if you run clearbulbs with smoked lenses you will be talking to the man before long. That's why they include the amber bulbs with the lenses. Too bad they don't include two red bulbs for the rear end.
