Default Which mirrors for road glide ?

I am having issues seeing behind me with my stock mirrors. Does anyone else have the same issues ?

I am thinking about getting the black long stem mirrors part# 91909-03a from Harley. Ibought aftermarket mirrors in the past and just have terrible luck getting them to stay in place or vibration issues on past bikes I have owned.

any suggestions?

the stock mirrors on my '05 Rg, gave me a wonderful view of my elbows.....so I always would know if I got off the bike..... Seems the stock ones are what they call "vanity mirrors" you point them at yourself, and think how cool you look. LOLOL
Anyway, I plunked down $20 for the chrome mirror extensions, and the now work fine

I was looking into getting long stem mirrors, but I'm just soooooo cheap....

How do you like your handlebars? Most people don't care for the stock RG bars, and for what mirror extensions cost you can almost buy a set of more comfortable bars and the mirror problem will fix itself. For instance, when I switched to the $50 WG bars there was enough difference in the rise and pullback that the mirrors no longer reflect my shoulders.

Same here when I went to the new bars the mirrors problem gets fixed and the pain between shoulder blades is gone also.

BG Weasel,

How do the Wide Glide bars compare in height and width to the stock RG bars? I've been thinking about getting a new set of mirrors too because of width but would rather get a set of bars if they turn out to be more comfortable.

Thanks
