Mystery design trike
Does anyone have any experiance converting a bike to a trike with this design?
Retiring in about a year and looking for a project that will keep me close to home. Wife has M/S andit is getting hard for her sit straight on the bike. This may keep us in the wind a little longer.
Just looking for some real life info on the conversion if anyone has any.
Thanks
Moe

RE: Mystery design trike
Hi Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't know how you feel about OCC but they built a trike for a Fan that was a paraplegia. You might be able to find a little info on their site. I seen a Sportster with a Mystery rear and the owner said he was totally satisfied with it. I'm changing my '78 FXS/sidecar to a trike,Paraplegia since '85. I've got everything ready to use a Servicar rear but the more I think about it I don't know how well that old rear will hold up. Santiago Choppers offer a rear that's almost a simple swap for the Servicar rear.Good Luck

RE: Mystery design trike
I was really impressed with the Mystery rear end but went with the Voyager conversion. Tha Voyager was half the price, and I got to keep my saddle bags. I made a few changes to make it look more like part of the bike. TheVoyager kit can be taken off in a couple minutes and your back to the stock bike. Iv'e been a paraplegic for 20 years now and finaly got back on a bike 2 years ago.
