Sounds pretty pricey to me. Our shop here has 2005 95 Inch Custom something (I think he said a Fat Boy anniversary) for 19,000. There are a couple of other 2005 Custom Softtails(Heritage and Fat Boy) for around 19,000.
A 2005 Fat Boy With Pearl paint is under 17,000 new.
Regards,
Bill

I would say definately high. If you want to find a great deal on a used Harley- check out the "custom" or "chopper"dealers in your area. It is almost sad the price someone will take for their Harley when they have their eye on the luscious custom. Typically- these are people who already spent ther first go-round of BLING on the Harley. I have seen similar Fat Boy's to your description go for 13K-15K, especially if their new bike is "on the way". There is the asking price, and the money price. Give it a try- I have seen too many good deals like this in the last 2 years. 2 of my friends went to a cutom shop I frequest, and bought their V-ROd and Fat Boy VERY right!

Too high. When I bought my new Road King, I talked to the dealer about trading in my Lowrider. On a trade in, dealers will only give about $100 for every thousand you have into it. I wouldn't put alot of stock in the chrome and extras. Not that much money anyway.
