Changing fluids before break in is done

If you are going to change the oil now, I'd put 50 miles on it first just to ensure you burn out all the moisture.

Don't think that'll burn anything up? Kinda why I haven't been riding it till I did the change. Was gonna let it idle a few minutes then drop it.

You don't understand what I'm saying. You want to get the motor good and hot to burn off any moisture that is in the oil.. Letting it idle then draining the oil is worse. You are simply adding more moisture to the oil.

He rode it 2 hrs. to his house. That would have been the time to pull the plug on it.
