Default Rattling when cold start on 2017 dyna 103ci

Hello everyone, I am currently riding a 2017 Dyna Streetbob. My motorcycle has 36,000 kilometers on it. All the maintenance has been done at a Harley dealer. 4,600 kilometers ago, I had the oil maintenance done at the Harley dealer, and after riding approximately 1,000 kilometers, I checked the oil and noticed that exactly one liter of oil was missing. Additionally, when I start my motorcycle cold on the jiffy stand, there is a rattling noise for about 20-30 seconds, which then gradually diminishes and disappears. When I start the engine while sitting on the motorcycle, the rattling noise lasts for about 5-6 seconds and then goes away. According to some of my research, the problem might be related to the oil pump or lifters, but when I look at the forums, opinions are divided. There are older Harley riders who say this rattling is normal, and younger ones who say to change the lifters. Even among those who say to change the lifters, opinions are split between those who say it solved the problem and those who say it didn't help. I would like to consult with people who have real knowledge or have experienced this issue.

Without hearing the noise AND the location of the noise, all we can do is hypothesize.

Does it still make the noise with proper amount of oil in it?

Does the oil pressure light go out right away?

If it does, about all you can do is get inside the cam chest and inspect the tensioner, and replace the lifters.

It sounds to me like a lazy lifter taking a bit of time to pump up, but you never know, it could be a roller needle bearing or inner cam bearing. It would bother me enough to replace the lifters and inspect the other items.

If it is coming from the right side and goes away after 5 or 7 seconds, your lifters are bleeding down, my 14 sgs started doing this at 10k miles, i changed the lifters out at 12.5k miles, I used S&S but there are other good ones out there, I was told by a Harley tech that this is a known issue with the 103's. Mine was still under extended warranty but that did no good, they wouldn't replace them until they went completely out. I just did them myself. I also used adjustable push rods but wished I just used the stock push rods.
