Yep. There are a couple of good threads in the last year, too, and they help ID the fakes. I thought the ones that I bought were legit after I did initial research, but thanks to a follow up thread, I found out that I had indeed bought some fakes. Luckily, I had not installed them.

I got the Screaming Eagle iridium. Not sure if they still offer them.

The M-8s use a an automotive style knock sensor. One on each head. The TCs used the ION sensing system.

NGK respected by most engine builders I know (automotive also) as top quality, no defects, good engine performance. Champion bought and sold enough times I don't know if they're any good anymore. I use NGK for most all my engines, and plan to for the Heritage also.

Of the four electrode coatings - plain (nickel), platinum, iridium, ruthenium, NGK's been pushing ruthenium (of course, it's newest and most expensive) for longest life and best spark quality. Platinum's ok, but is being replaced by iridium for 50% longer life. Iridium comes stock in truck Hemi engine, it's performed well, and they're a pain to change so I'll stay with it for all engines.

Not sure ruthenium is worth the price, maybe for only 2 jugs of a Harley, but not 8 for a truck. Read all about it on NGK's website.

I use stock OEM on a somewhat high compression TC. Change them every couple years just cause. Cheap enough. There's only two of them
