Default UHaul Motorcycle trailer

Any body used a UHaul motorcycle trailer to haul a touring bike ? Seems to be 2 different ones but the only one available to me is the smaller of the 2 .

Make sure you inspect tires on trailer before leaving lot
Had two bikes on this trailer. U-haul likes to do tire maintenance on an as needed basis through roadside assistance

I used a U-Haul 5x8 to move a 2016 Road Glide from Twin Falls to Lake Havasu City. Had no problems, The local U-haul would not rent a motorcycle specific trailer overnight, which kinda sucked.

As stated above do a thorough inspection before you leave the lot.

This worked like a charm, but as previously stated, check your tires!

This was a 5X9 utility trailer with ramp. They wouldn't rent the double axle trailer onel way.
Old cracked bias ply tires. 65mph on the freeway. Roadside assistance came out and replaced both sides with new radials.
Next time I needed a trailer, same issue, old cracked bias tires. Guy says two days before he.can get new tires. Took the trailer to my house. Let some air out of one tire called roadside assistance. Told them bad tire. Hour later a guy showed up with two brand new radial tires.
Roadside assistance is contracted out to independent tire shops but you have to leave the Uhaul lot before you can call them

Towed my Crossbones.....but I also had a wheel chock on the front wheel. These trailers are OK....no real suspension so would cinch down the straps every so often. I have used a similar trailer on an Ultra with no issues.

I used a U-Haul 5x8 to haul the Switchback to KC and pick up the Street Glide.
8 hrs each way and was fine, just bouncy.

They have a 5 x 9 sitting there they won't rent me , just wondering mostly if the ramp lets you load smoothly on the 5x8 , seems to be a sorter ramp , just wanna be sure it won't hang up loading or unloading .
I'll be sure to look the tires over , they had 2 to choose from .
