Battery tender issues 22 Street Glide
Just bought a 22 Street Glide. Put a battery tender on and even after a few hours can’t get a green light. The tender I’m using is a normal 2 terminal tender but the bike has the 3 terminal pigtail. Do I need a Harley tender for the 3 terminals or what’s going on? Any advice would be great. Dealership wasn’t much help. Thanks

Should not be an issue, what is the tender light doing? If it solid red, it is still charging, if it is blinking red then it is not charging and the fuse in the fuse panel may need to be replaced.
Ignore the third connection, your tender will work just fine.
May take more than a few hours to bring the battery up to the float level.

I think you mean 1.5 amps? Actually many are below that..
If the Tender is very low amp type it may not be able to charge the battery completely..

Yep, your third wire is for high amp fast charge situations. 5 amp chargers can heat up only one hot wire. Your battery has only two posts.
After my '22 purchase I found that the tender that I am using <1 amp took almost a couple of days before stating full charge, after that I get a full charge in just a few minutes after a long ride.
