Default Security System lock out.

Hello. I have a 2004 Elctra-Glide classic. Two days agoI set the bike down on a steep hill. Didn't jar it, didn't drop it. Set it down on the right highway peg, essentially. Picked it up, it wouldn't start. Shut off ignition, tried again and it ran fine. Yesterday, pulled the bike out, started it up. Ran for ten seconds then shut off. There are no turn signals, a red key icon comes on speedo as soon as I turn ignition on.Won't turn over. Dead. Called techs at several shops and they walked me through several ideas including turn off/on 50 times to clear all codes. No help. I used the odometer trick to read codes. One came up indicating Speedometer code "U 1064Loss of TSM/TSSM Data Carb". Also Turn Signal/Turn Signal Security Module Code saying "None" but indicating Part No. 68922-00C. This is the P.N. for the Turn Signal/Turn Signal Security Module.

If I replace the module, will that fix the lockout out problem?

Rick.

Default RE: Security System lock out.

sounds like a stuck/broken angle cut off switch. if you have the service manual you can find it soyou can bypass it to see if thats the prob. otherwise, good luck
