On my '21 Freewheeler I installed a Cobra PowerFlo Intake System and took the factory crankcase breather hoses out of the air cleaner and routed them into a 1 oz utility can that I found on Amazon for like $5 for 10 of them. Painted the can black and drilled a few vent holes, attached it to the back of the air cleaner mounting plate with Velcro for easy removal and it's been working just fine for the last 15,000 miles. I never cared for the idea of running hoses all over the place or having a catch can hanging under my air cleaner or needing a bracket to show it off somewhere.

I worry about the catch cans adding crankcase pressure when they start filling up. Evidently it's not an issue because a lot of people run them, but if any leaks sprung up that's the first thing I would blame.

You empty it periodically?

I don't use a catch can, I use a filter instead.

I just point it and dump to the ground. Why monkey around with the catch can or filter designs. No need to.
