So my father passed away about a month ago and I have taken it upon myself to fix his bike and get it properly running as kind of a memorial. It's a 2000 Electra glide standard. So far everything seems to be working fine but it does something strange when I roll off the throttle. The check engine light comes on when I throttle down, and turns off again when I throttle up. Speed has no effect, gear has no effect. I could be going 5 mph or 70. Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas as to the cause?
