Removing my FLHRC Gas Tank - Any 'got-chas' I need to Know about ?
I will be installing a stage 1 air filter on my 2009 FLHRC this weekend. Reading the HD manual, it looks like a straight forward task to pull the gas tank.
Many say its very difficult to remove the metal bracket on the throttle body with the tank in place. (Is that true?)
What I'm not sure about is the gas cap gauge and any wiring to worry about.
Are there any other 'oh no' I should be aware of before diving into the task?

I recently put a SE stage one air cleaner kit on my 2014 FLHR. I removed the tank to change the bracket and recommend doing it this way. It's not worth chipping your paint fiddlef*^$!ng around with it. Its fairly simple to remove your tank. I found a YouTube video that showed the whole installation step by step. I think it was from Law Abiding Biker. Bonus with the tank removed is that it is a great opportunity to clean things up and put a shine on it.
