Hey All, I need assistance!

I have a 2015 Street Bob that randomly shuts off while riding and at idle. It shows no codes, and I have replaced the CPS. KPA reads 30, and front and rear spark advance is 20-25 each. I have checked my battery, and ignition. All are snug and secure. Bike will start back up no problem and run for a while and randomly shut off again. Also, it will push out a little black smoke on restart. I am unsure how much is normal but its only a few puffs and not its not thick.

Installed on it is the FP3, Vance & Hines short shots, and an S&S intake.

I am currently stationed in Japan and dealers here are about 30% more than in the good ol' USA. The closest mech that will work on it is around 60 miles away. Language barriers are a large presence as well.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but i can keep it running if i give it some throttle.

Clean the IAC.
Check for leaks in the fuel line inside the tank.
Double check that the ground cable to the frame is clean and tight.

 

IAC is clean now and ground wire is good to go. Still having the same issue.

I haven't checked the fuel line but that will be next.
