Stop in PPHD, they can print out a copy for you. It takes a while because it's about 25-30 pages.

Before you install your HD transmitter. Check the freq used on your door opener.

Due Homeland Security some freqs that were used by door openers are now

not available or at least special order. It probably will work, but this may save

you a lot of time if it will not.

I installed mine, just connect the two loose wires that get connected (through the quick connect) to the HD garage opener power unit to the same connectors on the garage opener as your other switch is connected. The instructions say that some garage door openers will loose effective range with the HD added on, if it is installed too close to the opener.

My opener was not affected by the addition of the HD unit. I mounted it on the ceiling in a spare outlet. The part of the installation that is supposed to take two people is setting the opener to your bike. I just ran an extension cord with the HD door unit to my bike. Pressed the button on the HD unit (held it down) until I flipped the High/Low beam swithch on and off, then release the button on the HD unit. It worked for me.

The HD unit must have some kind of memory, because I was able to unplug the extension cord and reconnect the HD unit to its' plug and no additional programming was necessary. Hope that helps. If instructions are not clear, I could write them out and scan them into this message.

Default Door Opener Question

I have the H-D openers on my cycles and they worked fine on my old place door opener which didn't have safety sensors. New one is a Genie 1200 Professional opener w/sensors, and it doesn't work with it.

Have tried conecting wires to head and the door button, neither work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
