Seems that the codes are not a big deal to the ECU but the ECU could be having some issues and is not sending the signal to check engine light to illuminate.
one dealer told me maybe mis communication between the ecu and the computer, not sure but I will keep monitoring this issue. The trike rides perfectly.
Quick question, my circle red light on the dashboard turn on a few times when I was riding this week. I contacted the dealer and they told me that could happen if you have a missed-communication between the ECU not to worry and go ahead and clear the errors. If the light comes up again, then to bring the bike to be checked at the dealer. Either way, I cleared the errors but I cant find what these error means on the list:
00184h
62287h
62285h
Any ideas. Thanks.
I had the same codes and inquired several times at 2 Dealers with no success. Last Friday I went to another Dealer and told them about the codes. The Service Advisor went to the back and asked a master tech about the codes. The tech stated that he had no idea, however was curious and told me to pull the trike in. He hooked up the diagnostic equipment and found that that 62287h was a brake correlation code. The odd thing about 62285 was that the BCM would not record the mileage when the issue occured. Baffled by this, The tech called Harley tech line and they stated that it was an BCM calibration issue. They instructed the tech to perform a BCM reflash. It solved the issue.
