Default Cable Lubricator

I am thinking of leaving the stone age a bit and buying a cable lubricator. I have always lubed my cables without using one, but am thinking of giving them a try.

What is the deal with single or dual screw cable lubricators?

Does anyone have a recommendation as to which one to buy?

I have an ancient one, bought back in the 1970s IIRC. The only cables worth lubing IMHO are the throttle cables. If your clutch cable feels stiff or rough change it for a modern one such as a Barnett or H-D diamondback, if they still sell them. They are lined and brilliant!
