With 82,000 on it i would say its at its end.Even if it looks in perfect shape just keep in mind when it breaks your done.tow job home or to nearest dealer.very expensive job at a dealer.I have always heard that around 75,000 miles is the life span of a drive belt.
Adding to my earlier post, if most of your riding is reasonably local I would leave well alone, but taking note of ohioflhs' post above. Some of these belts have managed really big mileages. If on the other hand you have another coast-to-coast or similar major ride planned, change it along with both pulleys!
