Hello.


I recently bought a Memphis Shade fairing for my softail. The fairing had a plastic boot that slips around the headlight. My problem is that I had a larger custom headlight and the fairing would not install/uninstall without having to remove the headlight. I tried to modify the plastic boot and ended up jacking it up and had to cut it completely off. Memphis Shades cannot supply a new boot. Now I have a gap between the headlight and the fairing that allows a lot of air to come through.


I'm thinking one solution is to fill the gap in the fairing with a larger headlight. I measured the headlight gap in the fairing and it appears an 8" diameter headlight will mostly fill the gap. If I can find a 9" diameter headlight that might work even better.


The problem is, I can't find any 8/9" diameter Harley headlights.


Anyone got any ideas?
