So I've got my Andrews 48h cams ready to install on my 09, 96" FLHX and when looking at the box the part number is right (216348), the name is right (Andrews 48H), but then the label says "tc88 06 dyna chain drive cam."

Did I get the wrong 48???

 

Not according to this. Cam is for 07-17 twin cams PLUS 06' Dynas.

The '06 Dynas were different from all other '06 motors, so that's probably the reason. However, call Andrews; i'm sure they will have better info then the internet.

 

06 dyna use the same cam fitment as the 07-up models. If the cams have roller chain sprockets and a 1 inch bearing journal opposite the sprocket end it will fit.
