Question backrest pad removal ?

Trying to get this pesky pad off the backrest. Two slotted screws at the bottom, no problem. Two circular 'holes' just below the 'skull', how do I get them out ?...b.

Those look like tamper resistant screws like these at Wal Mart.
ACORN 0112-002-001 Tamper Resistant Screws

If they are, you need a special screwdriver that will fit those screws.

I know it looks like a 'hex' shape round the '****', but it's a complete circular hole. Also it's very thin and I would think very difficult to get a 'bit' in...b.

Thanks for the better picture. It helped me realize I was incorrect. I looked for that medallion on the Harley P&A site and found this

According to the description, those aren't screws, the plate is held on with adhesive tape.
