Default Service Manual for M8

Hello all,

Recently bought a 2017 Road Glide and am looking for a service manual. Looking for the torque specs for all those damn hex heads bolts. Thinking about removing some of the chrome and either plasti-dipping or powder coating them. I want to know how to reinstall so they don't rattle loose.

Where did yall buy your service manuals from and whats the average cost?
Also I would assume there is loctite on every bolt, is that correct?

Thanks for the knowledge and safe riding,
Maverick

First off, HD has never offered their service manuals in any digital format. Those sold on the net are illegal bootleg copies. Our rules do not allow discussion of those items. There are legitimate places on the net to purchase authentic paper copies of the manuals you require. Your dealer does the same.

You do not need loctite on every bolt, just the ones that the service manual calls for.
Your best friend here is a torque wrench. Use of it frequently will prevent stripped bolts.

Thanks for the info. I figured they were crap. Talked to my saleslady and she's gonna hook me up with one.
