tool for rear brakes

Default tool for rear brakes

i have 09 rocker c and i just removed the 2 bolts to pull off the rear bake caliper and the small bolt that holds the pads in place in the caliper , the e8 socket was to small and the e10 just slipped on the bolt . is there a e9 ( i look on line for a e9 and there isnt one )or is that bolt head stripped ?

A 1/4" 12 point socket fits perfectly for the pin bolts.

There are suitable sockets available for 8mm, 9mm and 10mm, however as QC points out you need a 1/4" 12 point. They can be a bit difficult to find, but I got mine off Ebay.

i found a 1/4 12 point box end wench in my tool box and it worked , thank you

Well done! Most of us have a run around looking for somewhere with a new one.
