Thought I ran across a heck of a deal,Butttt.
Was looking on e-bay and ran across these wheel's,the 9 spoke chrome triple plated new wheel that HD offer's, but that's just it they wasn't from HD they was from Advanced Chrome Plating for $825 exchange a set, Sold
at least that's what I thought, a freind and myself were going to buy two set's and they were going to knock off the shipping charge's, well when we explained the type wheel's we were trading in they replied it had to be the same type wheel, so in other word's you were paying $825 for them to chrome them[:'(] didn't sound like the deal was so hot after all, yea they would sell them outright for $1650,sh$t I could buy them from my dealer cheaper than that. Signed: disapointed.

Chrome exchange is exactly that. You exchange what you have for the same thing in chrome. Not unlike getting a rebuilt alternator, water pump etc... from NAPA. I don't understand why anyone would think they could turn in something other then what they expect in return. In most cases customers want to turn in lesser valued wire spoke wheels for aluminum spoke wheels. Of course if you don't have that same kind of wheel to begin with then your friends at HD are the ones to see for a outright purchase.
