Default Grips wont stay

Hiya all have a question I bought a set of grips with soft rubber inside if a chrome steel housing seems the grip glue wont keep them from wanting to slip off the bars or turning on the bars any suggestions??? I am thinking the rubber is too soft for the glue maybe? I really like the grips but tried heating them and the bars up with a hair dryer then applying even did them cold either way they stay for a while but in the sun they start to turn any info that someone may know would love to hear it if you would like to share. Thanks and KEEP THE SUNNY SIDE UP!

I used clear RTV silicone sealer the last time the grip glue didn't hold on my grip. Worked out great.

I would try the suggestions above but I would start over by cleaning the bars and all of the excess I could from inside the grips before trying them.

I have a dumb question. Is any adhesive needed?? I put my grip on and didn't use anything. It will twist if I am trying, is that a bad thing??

Well hairspray acts as an adhesive [spray some on your hand and see] so it holds the grip 'firm'...b.

Try roughing up the bar with steel wool or fine sandpaper.
