Default BACKREST PROBLEMS

JUST GOT MY 2006 EGLIDE STANDARD AND LOVE THE BIKE. BUT WHEN MY WIFE RIDES WITH ME THE BACKREST PUSH HER UP AND MAKE ME GO FORWARD AND IS UNCOMFORTABLE. I KNOW THERE IS A RELOCATER KIT FOR THE TOUR PACK. BUT IS THERE SOMETHING FOR A BACKREST OTHER THAN HER STAYING AT HOME.

I have the same issue when my "chunky" son rides with me. (dont read into that...not sayin a THING about your Mrs). Wife and other son.....no prob at all. I have a quick detach rack, and the tour pack is mounted a couple inches back from stock, but still with the backrest on, room is limited. I am sure there is a way to move it back even further, but as it is, the front of the tour pack is already about 2 inches or more behind the rear edge of the seat.

How about taking the backrest off, and leaning on her while ya ride??

I can only use my bikerest when riding single,my little woman is 5'3' weighs 130lbs ,she says it makes her claustrophobic and doesnt give her much room, never had a backrest before so I dont miss it.
