Default Front brake lever

my front brake lever on my 07 heritage won't stay out. it comes in just enough to keep my brake light on. any idea how to fix this?

Sounds like the piston in the master cylinder is sticking and not returning to its full out position. Most likely need to rebuild the master cylinder. A squirt of WD-40 or other lube may help temporarily, though.
The brake light switch is turned on (releasing the switch) when the lever is squeezed. The light is turned off (depressing the switch) when the lever is released.

In a pinch I have built up a 'bubble' of quick set JB Weld on the flat that makes contact with the brake switch tit to keep it off until I could fix the issue properly...
