Default saddlebag question

has anyone converted pre- rushmore bagger to the flip open rushmore style?
curious if the mounting rail and twist pins are even remotely close?

Not really feasible without a whole lot of fabrication and reconfiguration which would put the cost of doing all the modifications through the roof where it would now be cheaper to just buy a set of the later style bags and put them on the bike.

Yes they will fit. If you have the complete bag assy. This has been done and covered many times on this site. There may be a bit of adjustment of the mounts needed but they WILL fit.

The latches can't be readily retrofitted, but the complete bags can be.
