Broken Tour Pak

ABS plastic does not like the cold, not sure what temps have been in your area. If your a cold weather rider it may be possible the fracturing had started in the cold, unfortunately it is not as durable as fiberglass. Hope this never happens to anyone with a passenger.

WTF? did you check the break line? any signs that it had been cracked for a while?

No evidence of fraying. Just a straight break.
I do ride year round. In January and February the temps are usually in the 20's.
The idea about the cold is good. Maybe I will take it off next winter.

im certain you will get no satisfaction from HD as they would be setting a legal precedent if they stood behind your tour pak.... they would then have to stand behind all broken tour paks, and heaven forbid that ever happens with a passenger on going hiway speed, they would be liable for that too. im sure its in fine print somewhere that we are supposed to check our tour packs for signs of wear before each ride
