Got a 1969 inonhead today and it seems to be fireing on the front cylinder most of the time mostly. I pulled the rear plug wire and noticed if I hold the wire near the rear plug it too will begin to fire. Put the wire on and it will stop fireing. Pull it off partialy and it will start again. Almost the opposite of what I should be Any ideas? Plugs are good and gapped correctly. Thanks Jonathan
Sounds like your plug wire is not making a good connection to the plug. The most cost effective troubleshooting step is new plugs and wires. If that does not help, next check the coil.
