Hello anyone know of a good brand and place to buy a nice tank bag for my bike? I guess I'd like a nice leather one but saw some decent nylon looking one's too like from "Joe-rocket" at the Harley dealer. I just want to see what all my options are. Instead of just choosing from the few that the dealer had.

Any advice would greatly be appreciated....

Look in J&P cycles new catalog page 932 for Leather Magnetic tank bags. I saw these in a biker shop in Helen, GA last week and will be passing through there again next week and will pick one up then. They have 3 sizes and styles to choose from. Made from lamb skin leather.

Chicago Harley Davidson has the leather magnetic bag for 30 bucks. My buddy has your exact bike in black and white and he has one on his.

 

Ever thought of a Thigh pack.Straps on your leg like a holster.Ive got one .It goes where you go.See it on their website.sabergear.com .

 

I bought my Joe Rocket tankbag from newenough.com. It's black nylon and not too sportbike-looking. I like the bag itself, but IT SCRATCHED THE **** OUT OF MY TANK!!!!! I guess it was the stitching on the magnet pockets that did it, but I can't even buff those bastards out. Now if I want to use the bag, I just bungee it onto the passenger seat [][:@][:@]

I wouldn't recommend it, esp. since you've got a pretty new bike there...

 

I have one of the leather ones that are magnetic. I love it. My dealer ordered it for me special because it has a holster buildt into it so I can carry my off duty Glock 27 with me all the time.
