Default EVO tear down for inspection and maintenance

Well I finished the rest of my FXRP EVO tonight. But was my time removing all parts from the frame. I didn't break anything, it was actually pretty simple. I know - that was the easy part! My dilemma is this- I have a low mile (17k) 93 EVO - stock- I believe this was the first time anything was done to the bike. The paint on the engine looks like ****- I'm putting a handling beast. I then look over at my mildly built, always bulletproof FXDX that was recently totaled out with that beautiful black bad *** motor- FI, mapped, TH, SE intake, I would like to keep the FXRP as an EVO and do cams, exhaust, carb, ignition and maybe heads but I am not sure how to tackle the motor. My bike won't have chrome in it, pretty much all Blk PC. Has anyone redone an old motor out there and what kind of powder is used for high temp items like motors? I know I could sell either one and get a FLT 6 speed trans with more $ for paint,,,
Thanks for looking at this thread.

It looks like with your inspection and maintenance procedures you don't miss anything. Is this annually for you?
