Glide back rest

Default Glide back rest

This backrest appears to sit too far back, do I have the wrong one? The guy at HD shop says this should fit on the shock lugs and the front lug for the accessory pack. Not even close to fitting that way

If the pad is removable I would switch it to the other side and turn the side plates around so they're backwards.

NO NO NO. You are trying to use a 2008 and down backrest on your newer bike. It's that simple.
