Default Battery drain

II have a 2002 Dyna wide glide and for some reason my battery keeps draining. I've noticed after I charge the battery and when I connect the cables I get a tiny little spark. Even when everything is off.could this be caused by a bad rectifier/regulator?

You're in the Tech General ection of HDF here, just pick the Electrical part, where you will find a couple of Stickies that will help you check your charging system. That should identify the source of the problem, which starts by getting your battery tested at a local auto parts store.
