Default changed oil, now bike won't start

I just changed the primary oil today and now my bike won't start. All it does is click click click. Anyone have any ideas?

I dont think one has anything to do with the other. Sounds like a weak battery, is it the original? Or... bad/loose connection to the starter. Battery leads tight?

If you say it clicks, it should not be your kill switch?? They get bumped off when your working on it.

Hook it up to a trickle charger for 24. Hours. Chances are you ran the battery down the click click click is an indication of low voltage/current to thecstarter.

I agree, changing the oil has nothing to do with whether your bike starts or not. I think it is just coincidence so I also vote for checking out your battery or maybe even the battery connections, maybe they are loose or corroded, it's an easy place to start.

Also a quick check with a voltage meter at the battery terminals will tell you battery condition and go from there

Nice intro...another ++ for checking your battery connections (both ends). Then go to New Member Intro section and give us a proper greeting...we're only all gentlemen here and would like to hear more about you vs. being the "ask ? and dump" type...

What Iceman said...

Tired of spending time trying to come up with an answer to help someone, only to realize that the poster probably never even read the answer.
