Yeah, im not sure im buying it. However it was pretty rare to release a bike midway through the year like they did with the Nightster. And there is that Cafe Racer'esque sporty they may only release to Europe which would be a first as well. hmmmmmmm?

They are also shopping around HD dirtbikes im hearing. So who the hell knows.

 

I heard that HD will now do all it's tank emblems in ALL CAPS too!1

Anyone that pays attention to this stuff knows the dealers are pretty much kept in the dark until the dealer meeting in July. Any information before then is pure speculation.

 

It is just time Harley moves on. Plenty of alphabet left you know. New models are: GX, GXD, GXSTD, GXWG GXBAG, and Y51

 

Unless you were planning on buying one of these models in 08 , who cares . Automotive companies are dropping and re-adding to thier inventory all the time... Mark...

 

This guy must be bored, snowbound, or something for instance the wideglide blow off showroom floors within 5 days of hitting ground and are backordered, i know this because i had to wait 45 days for one dealer tried to trade for it but no one would let go of there`s (hum)

 

I order one of each this morning in every color combo just in case the rumor was true. I don't want to get caught with my pants down. They will be collectors items! I want to time it just right and get the last one off of the line. I had to draw all my savings out, sell my current bike, car, boat, house, tried to sell the dogs but could not get any takers. Any way I order every thing just in case this was true ........

 

yeah,i find it pretty hard to believe, too.i just recently read somewhere that the deuce is one of their most popular models. and the wide glide seems to be something of an icon, too. (sorry about the lower-case letters, but that first guy used up all of the caps.)

 

when I am in the market for a new Harley, I will be looking for something different than what I already have (wide glide)... I'm sure they will have something I like - like a 120" water cooled 100/100+ super dilly deluxe Ultra bagger

 

Uhhhhh Thrillseeker, I just ordered one of those 100/100 water baggers this morning but the dealer said not to tell anybody. He went ahead and ordered mine because he likes me so well and knows I would not tell a soul. It also comes with GPS, heater vents, and a super loud horn. Y'all don't tell anybody else, I want to have the first one off the assembly line. It also has cup holders and satellite on board phone, hands free. and a lcd tv in the back of the rider backrest with HUD capability on the windshield.

Y'all keep this on the down low. WOuld want the riff raff to know what's going on
