Anyone tried the new free wheeler yet?
Stepped into Harley Davidson of bowling green after a big BBQ dinner and needed to walk around awhile. First thing I saw was the new tri glide. Salesman said he had 4 test riders already turn it down. Told me to get on and I would see why. So I did, and immediately knew why. It feels so small! Maybe if I was 5ft5 it would be cool. These must be targeted for women riders. No man close to 6ft or over 6 will be comfortable on that IMO. But it is just that, my opinion....and apparently the other 4 test riders that day. Thing is the bike itself looks great! Flawless workmanship.
Just for record not here to bash the new trike, just pointing out they feel quite small in the saddle. A very odd posture IMO. What are your thoughts???
I may have the name wrong. It's the new trike for 2015 I'm talking about not the big touring trike

That was no salesman you talked to.

When I first saw the Freewheeler at Corning, NY HD store. I went, Sheeshus...What was HD thinking ?. And walked away from it.
IMHO, Probably good for newly converted women riders who wanted a trike to ride.

Dealership I know has already sold two to lady riders and was ordering a third for another young lady.

I see why you would say that. But he knew I was in no way interested in buying one, just having a conversation about it. No need to give me the song and dance.

Maybe you didn't notice the huge selection of "Low"s available for a larger demographic of the population... or the write up of the Free Wheeler on HD's website...
EDIT: You know what; it's totally not your place to need to know that, sounds like your salesperson is a hater.
Hot rod-inspired style and a smaller, easy-handling size make the new Freewheeler™ model unlike any other trike on the road. Confidence comes instantly in this saddle.
