Awsome pics, Thanks for posting them. Now that's the way Harleys were meant to be enjoyed, and they certainly were doing just that!
I wonder how many of us would even attempt taking our bikes into the mud and snow,..etc. Also, didn't see much "protective gear", no helmets, chaps,...just jackets and boots,...those were ballsy riders,..what I would respectfully call, "real bikers".

Ya know, we must be getting soft in our old age. I can't recall ever seeing a recent/modern pic of a bagger doing this:
Yet in those old photos ya see these guys doing it all the time, on hardtails to boot - bottom out that seat baby!

I always thought that real bikers rode like that.30+yrs ago with a 650 BSA trying to ride the woods trails was a lot of fun,except for too much power and getting stuck a lot,it was a ball.
