I hope the Moderators indulge me this post. I've been hanging around here for a little bit and believe the people that frequent HDChat will find the following of interest. While we enjoy the Easter holiday...others are ensuring our well being. Like it or not we're in a 24/7 situation in the mideast....my thoughts tonite are with those in uniform. Thank you for that vid. Our son just left to go back to duty after being home on leave for 2 weeks. We are very proud of him and that vid really brings it home to us!

I have a son that just called this afternoon to tell me he made it back to base in Iraq after being home for 8 days. Out of that 8 we got to see him for about 36 hours.

My other son flys for the Navy and just got back from the desert.

 

Having spent 11 years in the military, I rarely treat a holiday as any special day. I suppose there were too many holidays spent working and such. But, for those in the military that continue their traditions, good for you. My thoughts are with all of you for a safe journey home.
