Vivid black is gone. Pink is the new standard color. Every other color will be trimmed with pink pin stripes. Electric horns are replaced with rubber bulb air horns. Kick start comes back, to save money on the cost of the bike. All prices DEcrease by 15%.

[sm=funnypostabove.gif] Now that's freaking funny.
However, I have heard from my dealer that HD is planning on dropping a model or two for '08. As far as major changes are concerned I don't think I'd hold my breath.

They are not even finished with the 2007 manufacturing run yet and people are already
jumping on a list to trade in their 2007 for a 2008, sorry I just don't get it.

HD may get dirty. At some of the bigger shows, HD has been showing some Motocross bikes. go figure.

You know, that whole "Anniversary Edition" crap is just so they can charge you more for a bike. IMO, they should only do the "Anniversary Edition" think every 25 or 50 years, not every 5 years. Come on HD, who gives a crap if you made it another 5. Don't call it Anniversary anything. Just call it Harley-Davidson!!
I know....that every five year anniversary thing is total crap. They have nothing but a special paint job and only a limited amount of them were produced. I can see possibly every ten years for the anniversary models....but nothing less than that. Anything less than ten years is excessive.

A V-Rod engine stuffed into a a touring machine would be nice. I can see a demand for such a bike as well. There already is an aftermarket kit for a V-Rod conversion into a a Road Glide....Harley will probably follow suit and make their own.

I think it is a shame to come out with new bikes and still have issues with chain tensioners. Just go back to timing gears and no more problems. Likewise, and to still use the crappy INA bearing in the engines. They keep manufacturing larger engines with more HP....yet are still flawed by the issues just mentioned.

I'm a old fart and I would buy a water cooled bagger. The 07'sjust run too HOT!

ABS would be a welcome addition also.

Aren't they going to start production on Trikes? You think they will unveil one in 2008?
