Question for you guys that come into the Sturgis Rally and rent homes, what is the going rate? I have a friend who has a very small house in Sturgis that is considering renting it out next year but we are differing on the going rate. So what say you?

The low end I saw was 1000-1200 for the week.

 

a friend from work and his buddies are paying 7k for one in Whitefish....big house though.

 

A few years ago our neighbors had a house for 5 couples (size of house I'm not sure) and they were going to spend 5k. I think it was in Sturgis as I recall.

 

We had one in Rapid City. $2,250 for 5 nights

4 Bedroom (plus sleeper couch in den), 2 bath.
With 6 guys, worked out to $375 each.

Decent house in a nice neighborhood.
You could not have found a hotel room that cheap.

 

No kidding and you know all those nice honest people are claiming that income on their taxes..

 

Oh, yeah - 100% above the board! LMAO!

 

2 of us had a 4 man cabin in a campground a few miles East of the Chip that was $1350 for a week.

 

Prices for everything will increase for the 75th Sturgis Rally next year. Book now.
