the best way to avoid trouble is to avoid going where trouble may be.
if you have doubts which it seems like you have I would not participate.

 

A little off-topic perhaps...

Obviouslymuch has changed since my involvement with outlaw clubs, but I'm having a difficult time understanding why a 1% outfit would be interested in mingling with citizens as an organization. I no longer consider myself a one percenter, but when I was involved the whole purpose was to be exclusive of the 'regular' folks. We actually went to great lengths to see that citizens were not involved in our events. I wonder what's changed?

 

Though uncommon for 1%er clubs to have an open house, they do occure from time to time for a variety of reasons.

Your concern for your girlfriend is certainly warranted if your feel unsure about going into that environment yourself. If you have a sponsor from within the 1%er club who personally invited you, you should be able to tell him of your concerns and most likely he would ensure nothing would happen to your girlfriend, unless of course she overtly invites something. In that case, they would give you the option of leaving with her or watching. If your unsure how your girlfriend would act in any given situation, I.E. slaps on the butt, overt comments, etc. you would be better off to not take her.

If you want to go then that is just fine if you take your lady with you just keep her by your side at all times make sure you show up together and leave together. when she has to use thebath room you stay outside and wait if a patch holder you have been talking with comes overand wants you to engage in conversation and move away let him know you are waiting on your OL
ifyou feel safe as if he has a Prospect that can watch out for her or another OL that she has been talking with to watch for her

just watch your P's and Q's and all will be fine after all you said it was an open party

I have been to many 1% party's both in Texas and California (some open some private)
and have never had a problem
My OL has been to many of them with me when she was still able to ride

if you personaly were invited then they already know who you are and should not be a problem

 

I heard they will wanna swap your new sporty for their 68 pan head,, and not the one parked out front ............

Like so many of us do, you've over evaluated the whole thing. Do what you really want to do. You should be just fine.

 

If you have to ask.............the answer is probably no.
